The SETx-UIFL incorporates Equity as a main theme to inform locally-driven assessment of current and future risks and proposed adaptation strategies to climate change. The team uses various qualitative methods (interviews, focus groups, workshops), hazard exposure, physical and social vulnerability, and risk mapping methods.

Want to learn more or get involved?

We have different opportunities for you to provide input on the impacts on your and your community’s quality of life, public health, safety, and welfare. You may share your experiences through interviews, focus groups, public events, or project task forces. Are you a researcher or student studying the current and future hazards that impact Southeast Texas communities and would like to coordinate with our research team?
